"NOW You can Use that Name for the Monster"

Films: Frankenstein Vs. Baragon (1965)

Alias: None

Type: Mutant

Location: Civilized Area/Forest

Height/Weight: 25 meters and 200 metric tons.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Good

Summary: Hey, as it turns out, the world of Kaiju didn't turn a blind eye to the Gothic Horror genre at all! In fact, they took one of them, and gave him the Kaiju treatment. The result is certainly something.

History: In this film, Frankenstein is the monster. Oh, and he's created when the original Frank loses his creation's heart to Nazis, and it gets shipped to Japan for an army of super-soldiers, only to be caught in the Hiroshima blast. Somehow, this caused the heart to form a body around it, and a mutant feral child was found. This beast would grow to gigantic sizes, run away, and get blamed for the loss of people and livestock. In actuality, that was Baragon's fault.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: After fighting Baragon, Frankenstein snaps the beast's neck. But the ground caves in, and the two giants hurdle down into the Earth. No one is sure if he truly died. As it turns out, he didn't...sort of.

Powers/Abilities: If fed well, Frankenstein will grow exceptionally fast. He is also quite strong.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2-Frankenstein might be a bit hideous, but his heart is in the right place (Ha!). Due to being raised correctly, albeit in a cell, he cares for humans for the most part, and would put himself in harm's way to prevent their deaths.

Trivia: -The ending to the film was originally going to have Frankenstein defeat Baragon...only to be dragged into the sea by a giant octopus named Oodaku. Harsh.

-Willis O' Brian once requested Toho make a movie about King Kong fighting against a giant Frankenstein's monster. We instead got "King Kong vs. Godzilla" out of the deal.

Funny that Baragon thinks he's winning.

The flames of Baragon entrap him.

"ARE YOU ENTERTAINED?!"
No...he really didn't.

End of a monster...for now.

There goes Frank's hand. That horn's been in some hellish places.
A crossover with Equinox?

He's only a boy, you know.
